*In the process of adding some really fun Christmas songs to the Dropbox, including this gem. I cannot stress enough how amazing jazz-on-line.com is. They have a huge collection of swing, western swing, bluegrass, and early blues. They do have a limit of 50 songs per day, but they’re free, legal downloads and they’ve made my music library a much more interesting place.
Easily my favorite Dorsey/Sinatra tune.
I love early Sinatra so much. So romantic. So sentimental.

The band last night was pretty interesting to dance to, but they definitely have a great sound. I love ‘em.

Balboa on the River is such a fantastic event – bringing together balboa fanatics and dabblers with great music, workshops and company.
I was honoured to score the third set of the opening night.
My aim was to feature a mix of big band specifically suited to balboa as well as sections of tunes with a dixie/NOLA rhythm to ensure high spirits and fun dancing. Also, play as many tracks with vocals rather than instrumentals.
A huge thank you to the organisers of this wonderful weekend.
